SONNET NO. 54: " PATIENCE," OCT. 4, 2012, BY LOLO BOMBOY
We can do nothing but wait for our turn
The minutes go by and we just sit still
We see the screen flash, time is a concern
Hoping to make it is a test of will
And more people come, they sit around us
Are there enough seats for everyone there
We wish to know soon, maybe in a rush
As fear creeps in, we begin to wonder
I look for some reason to ease my pain
Time might fly faster that way, so i hope
As i reflect, I hear them call my name
Now i can sit back and rest in my nook
Patience is all we really need for it
Makes waiting bearable a little bit
