i had a song i thought would make you happy,
and so i sent the song to you posthaste the other day,
but just this morning i saw the song right here on my doorsteps,
i guess it must have come all the way back to me while i was still asleep.
-
is there a lesson here that i should remember,
is there a chance i'd  share my song with anyone ever again,
or should i tell myself to be so careful  whom i share my song with,
so it doesn't feel so bad should i find the song back here on my doorsteps.
-
i didn't know that  i could be so mindless ,
and i didn't know that i could be so careless,
now i know for sure what i should or shouldn't do,
i must be grateful for this lesson i now already know...
